K Soul Food inside The Source OC is a great spot for delicious Korean cuisine! Their pocha-style dishes are perfect for a casual meal with friends, and the live seafood options are super fresh. The flavors are bold and yummy, with some hints of Western side dishes. They put baked beans and salad in the main dishes too. Totally recommend the pocha-style dishes with some Western hints!

Got the original teobokki (7/10), cold noodles (10/10), cheese donkatsu (4/10). Wasn't a big fan of the donkatsu but the cold noodles hit the spot! Service was very quick and prices were reasonable. This restaurant is at the source mall so there is plenty of parking and is fun if you want to grab a bite while walking around.

The restaurant is located in The Source on the 3rd floor. We walked into the restaurant and they seated us right away outside at a larger table for our family of five. We sat inside the pojangmacha area outside. The weather was nice and cool but it was a little warm under the red tent. We went to dinner around 8:30 but it was still very busy and stayed busy through our meal. Looked like a popular place. We were provided water and silverware right away. We ordered and then they brought out the ban chan. Very simple yet tasty: kimchi, fish cake, cabbage salad, and spicy pickled radish. Unfortunately they were out of the live uni for the night- will have to try again. We ordered two of the combo sushi plates, mandu (dumplings), two bowls of the bibim naegmyeon, and the special roll 1 (spam, bulgogi, and shrimp). I had the bibim naegmyeon and it was very good but spicy. I also had a dumpling which was tasty. Husband and son shared the combo sushi's and the special rolls. Everything was good. There was a generous size of fish for the sushi and everything looked very fresh. Definitely will have to go back to try other menu items.

This place serves a variety from fresh cut sashimi to street Korean food. The mulhae cold noodles is enormous and filling for two people. I got the halibut sashimi with it, the cut is so plump and fresh. The broth is so refreshing and hits the spot, but wish it was more spicier and less sweeter. My favorite was the soup tokkbokki. The sauce tasted nearly similar to one of my favorite tokkbokki place in Korea. It was too good I had to ask for more broth to go with my leftovers. Service is great, the waitress is very attentive and efficient as well.

Came here on a late night and so glad that it was open. Kimchi fried rice (5/5): not spicy at all and was very comforting. The runny egg yolk added great flavor as well. Carbonara rice cake (4/5): Very creamy and perfect if you want rice cake, but can't handle the spicy mess. The bacon was fatty and soft. However it lacks that intense flavor from the spicy one. Spam roll (5/5): Super yummy and come with so many pieces. Curry (5/5): Tasted as Japanese curry supposed to tasted like. Korean feast noodles (3/5): It was very plain and piled with a bunch of vegetables. I would recommend a soup with more flavor. I definitely really enjoyed my experience here. I hope to come back to try the raw seafood.
